It’s this time of the year again, and I know how excited you are, or maybe not? Well, if the latter is the case, I have you covered with your very first back-to-school outfit to walk your way into a new school adventure. This outfit has it all: school tartan (also here), open legs, colours, and just a cool attitude. But if we wanna approach the subject a little more serious, here are some tips to create your perfect back to school outfit:
- Use simple cuts, school is not a fashion arena. You can compensate with colours and prints instead
- Keep it decent: too low cleavages or shorter-than-short shorts have nothing to do in this environment
- Do not spend too much money on your school outfits, they are just not worth it
- Wear comfortable shoes
- Just be fun!

Good and solid advice. Don’t spend too much, be appropriate, and keep it simple. Finding a few classic pieces but getting them in fun colors and then buying some mix and max solids would be a great way to build a solid wardrobe that can last years.

This is an interesting look, but I don’t really care for it. The stripes are too much. This would look nicer with solid prints or simpler designs on the fabric.

I live in England so we have to wear a school uniform up until we finish high school at 16. Once you go on to college you can wear your own clothes.
