{EN} Happy Women’s Day! It is a wonderful day, and it is much deeper than flowers, perfumes and dinners. It’s history is meaningful and it’s importance is endless. It’s a day of gratitude and recognition to all the women out there who make this world better every day. To all those women who, everyday, responsibly go to work, and do their jobs regardless of unequal payments and despite insecurity. To all those women, who find power to revive after sexual harassment. To all those women who give birth to new lives. And to all of them who decide not to do so. Slim or fat, young or old, intelligent or silly- today is our day! And on this day I wish us that there comes a moment when we won’t need a day to stress women’s importance!
{RO} Astăzi este ziua femeilor. Este o zi minunată, mult mai profundă decât acele buchete de flori, parfumuri, cine de sărbătoare și amintirea “de serviciu” a tuturor cuvintelor frumoase ce s-au spus vreodată de vreun poet despre vreo femeie. Istoria acestei zile este semnficativă, iar importanța ei- infinită. Este o zi de gratitudine si recunostintă pentru toate femeile care fac această lume mai frumoasă cu fiecare zi. Pentru toate femeile, care, in fiecare zi, responsabile merg la serviciu, făcându-și conștiincios treaba chiar in pofida salariilor inegale și a insecuritații. Pentru toate femeile, care găsesc putere să renască după o harțuire sexuală. Pentru toate femeile, care nasc vieți. Și pentru toate cele care decid să nu o facă. Slabe sau grase, tinere sau bătrâne, inteligente sau prostuțe- astăzi este ziua noastră! Și în această zi ne doresc să vină un moment când nu va mai fi nevoie de o zi ca să ne amintim de importanța femeilor. Ea va fi știută și așa.
P.S. Aici, în Danemarca, femeile nu prea primesc flori de 8 Martie. Și nici nu prea sunt scoase pe la restaurante. Și, ce să mai, se duc la serviciu, că nu are toată țara liber de ziua femeii. Aici, in vest, femeile se sărbătoresc altfel pe ele. Demonstrând că sunt puternice, că sunt încrezătoare, că merg înainte. Că pot orice. Și nu au nevoie de flori o dată pe an ca să le fie recunoscută existența; iar dacă au- iși iau.
