We still have one entire month of summer to go and never did I post anything about styling a good pair of shorts. To be honest, I don’t wear shorts a lot. I find them too casual for my taste, if this makes any sense. Well, not in this case. I guess I lack some fashion history knowledge to label this outfit with a specific style name, but, according to my intuition the items look more than coherent together. So, here is the recipe: linen shorts plus a cool puff sleeve blouse.
However, accessories are the ones who really make the styling up. The wide waist belt/corset accentuates the waist while also being super edgy and adding some rigidity to an otherwise romantic styling, given by the tie band wide brim hat. Also, an interestingly shaped basket bag is always a good idea in summer. Don’t forget your shades, and you are absolutely ready to go. And don’t worry about the jewellery, as it is absolutely unnecessary here.

Doesn’t mango have the best of shorts?! I have a tan, linen pair from them and they are some of my favorite in my wardrobe. They remind me of the pair you’re wearing now just slightly darker! I adore how you paired the puffy sleeved top with the belt or waistband too! This was an excellent choice for it gave the outfit more shape! I know I can always come to you for styling advice 🙂
